Northamptonshire Health and Care Partnership

The Sustainability and Transformation Plan (STP) sets out how health and social care in our county will change over the next five years.

This is a bold plan, which explains how services will be reshaped to focus on keeping people well – and giving them the right help as close to home as possible.

NHS Corby CCG is one of the local NHS and other organisations who have worked in partnership to develop the plan. We want to ensure that we have a care system which is fit for the 21st century, supports a healthier population, meets all the needs of local people – and is affordable.

This is called the Northamptonshire Health and Care Partnership.

This plan has been developed with doctors, other care professionals and members of the public. It is still a work in progress and more detail will emerge as it takes shape. As this happens, there will be more opportunities for people to contribute and comment.

You can also download an overview booklet explaining how health and care services operate in our county, providing background information about why there is a need to improve the way we do things, and outlining NHCP’s priorities for a positive lifetime of health, wellbeing and care in our community.

This video has been produced by NHS England to explain why STP's have been developed nationally.
